If your kids are anything like mine, they LOVE bananas. Like... eat them everyday kind of love. That's why I thought it fitting to share this 5 ingredient banana bread recipe with you.
This 5 ingredient banana bread is so simple to make and it's delish.
Let's get right to it:
5 Ingredient Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, or 1 ½ cups mashed
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, or oat flour
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup maple syrup, or honey
- 1 tsp baking soda
Optional Flavorings:
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- mix-ins of choice, i.e., chopped walnuts or pecans, chocolate chips, raisins, etc.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare 9×5-inch loaf pan with foil or parchment and spray with cooking spray.
- Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. (If desired, stir in any mix-ins, or sprinkle on any toppings.)
- Bake 45-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. (may vary)
- Allow to cool completely before cutting.
- Store in an airtight container on the counter up to 3 days or in the fridge for a week.
