MYB Designs was established in April 2022 by owner Miki Young Brown. While homeschooling her daughter, Miki learned to design journals as a hobby, and as a way to cope with mental health issues during that time. She looked at designing journals and workbooks as a way to keep her mind occupied and keep herself busy. The more she designed, the more her mental health was restored. Soon after, she started selling her journals online. With no formal training, Miki took it upon herself to learn about digital graphics from mentors who had been in the field for years. In February 2023, Miki decided to take MYB Designs to another level by creating her own online store with products focusing on melanated and special ability themes. As a Military Veteran, she understands how important it is to stay mentally and emotionally fit. She uses her products as a way for people in the melanated and special ability community to see the positive side of themselves. MYB Designs strives to meet high expectations and deliver one of a kind products.
